Palmacees
Name given to the palm cabbage, the internal part of the stalk of several palm trees of the tropical regions. Although they can be eaten raw, they are sold precooked in canned food in the specialized grocer's shops and the big supermarkets. Cut in slices, they can be served with a vinaigrette. Their fine savour which reminds that of the artichoke decorating salads, dishes of shellfishes, gratins and bechamel sauce with ham.
Format :
- in can 4/4 in pieces, medallion and whole
- in can 3/1 in pieces, cut and sliced.
